These Terms and Conditions govern your use of The Local Authority Method website, membership, resources, content, and services. By purchasing or accessing The Local Authority Method, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not purchase or access the membership.

1. About The Local Authority Method

The Local Authority Method is a digital membership designed to support estate agents with content creation, social media marketing, training, resources, templates, and educational materials. All content is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

2. Membership Access

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the membership area and any resources included within your membership plan.

Your membership is personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, resold, or distributed to any third party.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where we believe membership access has been shared or misused.

3. Payments and Billing

Membership fees are charged on a recurring basis unless otherwise stated.

By joining, you authorise us to collect recurring payments using your chosen payment method until your membership is cancelled.

If payment fails, we reserve the right to suspend access until payment is successfully processed.

Prices may be updated from time to time. Existing members will be given reasonable notice of any pricing changes where applicable.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time from the Account page in the members area. You do not need to contact us or give a reason. If you cancel:

• Your membership remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• No further payments are taken after cancellation.
• Part-months are not refunded.

If you cancel during your 3-day free trial, you will not be charged at all.

5. Refunds and Your Statutory Rights

As a UK consumer buying online you normally have 14 days to change your mind, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Because this membership provides immediate access to digital content, you are asked when joining to agree that access starts straight away. Once you have agreed to this and accessed the members area, that 14-day right no longer applies to the payment in question.

If you have paid but have not accessed the members area, contact us within 14 days and we will refund you in full.

Beyond that, membership payments are non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the membership is faulty, not as described, or unavailable. Full detail is set out in our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within The Local Authority Method, including but not limited to content calendars, templates, training materials, downloads, videos, graphics, written content and branding, remains the intellectual property of The Local Authority Method unless otherwise stated.

Membership content is licensed for your personal business use only. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, or share membership content
• Upload content to third-party platforms for redistribution
• Claim ownership of any membership materials
• Use membership content to create competing products or memberships

7. User Conduct

By accessing the membership, you agree not to:

• Share login credentials
• Disrupt or interfere with the operation of the membership
• Upload malicious software or harmful content
• Engage in abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour towards other members or administrators

We reserve the right to remove members who breach these terms without refund.

8. No Guarantees

While we aim to provide valuable content, strategies, and resources, we do not guarantee any specific results. Individual outcomes depend on many factors, including effort, consistency, market conditions, experience, and business circumstances.

We do not guarantee:

• Increased revenue
• More property listings
• More seller leads
• More followers
• More enquiries
• Any other specific business outcome

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Local Authority Method shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

• Use of the membership
• Inability to access the membership
• Reliance on information contained within the membership
• Business decisions made based on membership content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for your membership during the preceding twelve months.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

10. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website and membership available at all times; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the membership without prior notice.

11. Privacy

Your use of The Local Authority Method is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the website and membership, you consent to the collection and processing of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website, and continued use of the membership constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
